I’m a Computer Scientist with a passion for building web interfaces that are usable, accessible, and delightful. I’m a strong advocate for inclusive design, and I enjoy mentoring and teaching others.
My tools are mostly React and Web Components, with a mobile-first, accessible-by-default mindset. I care that interfaces work for all users, regardless of personal physical ability.
I’m currently a Software Engineer at FamilySearch, a React Summit speaker, and on the program committee for the US and Asia conferences. Open to new speaking opportunities. I accept payment in cake.
Off the clock: I cook, design LEGO builds, and travel with my family.
