About
I’m a Computer Scientist with a passion for building web interfaces that are understandable, accessible, and delightful for everyone to use. I’m a strong advocate for inclusive design, and I enjoy mentoring and teaching others.
My tools are mostly React and Web Components. I care deeply that user interfaces work for all users, regardless of personal physical ability, device configuration, or geographic location.
I’m currently a Software Engineer at FamilySearch, a React Summit speaker, and on the program committee for the US and Asia conferences. I'm currently open to new speaking opportunities. I accept payment in cake.
Off the clock: I'm an exceptionally talented cook. I'm a LEGO artist, and an amateur Photographer. I also enjoy traveling with my family and I've been around the world 5 times (and counting).
